I like to say I'm the best third wheel you’ll ever have. Together we’re gonna laugh, tell a few bad jokes, and have a great time making memories that matter.
MY STORY
My full name is Moriah Hounsell, but growing up my friends called me ‘Mo’ or ‘MoHo’ for short.
When I started my business, I was told to make sure it was named after me, but 'Moriah Hounsell Photography' never felt right — it sounded fancy and elegant. Truthfully, being formal and exceedingly posh just isn't me! So I went back to my roots with my childhood nickname, and it feels like home.
MY WORK
My work brings out my goofy side—and that’s an important part of the process. My goal is not only to capture your reactions to my antics, but to inspire and create joy in everything I do. In the immortal words of Ben & Jerry, “If it’s not fun, why do it?”

FUN FACTS ABOUT ME
I love to travel, but coming home to Vermont fuels my soul. There’s something about these mountains, I swear they’re magic.
You’ll never hear the end of how much I love my highly anxious, wild, and snuggly rescue dog Zoey.
I’m obsessed with cheese, despite the fact I’m lactose intolerant. My love of cheese is so well known, that for my 30th birthday my friends made me a cheese cake from hunks of cheddar. It was glorious.
I got my degree in Anthropology because my curiosity about how people work is so ingrained. My camera has become my passport into the lives of people I might not have met otherwise, and I love every minute of it.
