Golden Hour Engagement Session in Shelburne, Vt

engaged couple standing in tall grass in front of lake champlain

In my opinion, the middle of a frickin cold January seems like the perfect time to think back on warmer times, and I have not been able to stop thinking about Natalie and Tori’s engagement session in Shelburne this past summer. I’m hoping that sharing all the golden hour goodness will help me get motivated with sharing even more awesome photo sessions this year.

Lake Champlain Engagement Session

This engagement session was the stuff of my dreams - soft cloud cover, golden hour lighting over Lake Champlain, and two incredibly wonderful people to photograph it all with. Natalie and Tori came to me totally trusting my vision for their engagement session, and I am beyond ecstatic for the results we got. One of my favorite details is that Tori’s ring is actually her grandmother’s ring, and can I just say how gorgeous and unique it is? I’ve never seen such a cool flower-like design for a ring before, and I think it sums up this couple perfectly - fun, unique, and totally authentic.

While I’m so happy with this warm summer engagement session, I cannot wait for these two to tie the knot this coming November at the Mountaintop Inn - give me all the romantic winter vibes, please and thanks.
